WHAT IS JEP
JEP Girls of MD is a branch of the national Jewish Education Program. We feature a unique big sister-little sister program for Jewish girls in grades 1-7. Participants in grades 1-4, known as JEP Juniors, are invited to join a "Jewnie Group" with two high school mentors. 5th-7th graders, known as JEP Seniors, are paired up with individual high school big sisters.
JEP also has a teen division called Batya for girls in 8th-12th grade. We hold monthly activities, weekly learning programs, and holiday events, all of which promote Jewish awareness and learning in a fun and exciting environment.
The girls get a chance to interact and connect with Jewish girls of all ages from a variety of religious affiliations
Mission
JEP Girls of MD strives to unite Jewish girls from all backgrounds and affiliations and gives them a chance to bond as sisters, learn together, and develop lasting relationships. By providing educational and recreational activities for Jewish girls, JEP instills Jewish pride and unity within the hearts of Jewish children.
